HARD CHROME PLATE
Dedicated to providing quality surface finishes, our highly efficient Hard Chrome Plating Plant offers facilities for plating components within a size range of, length 8407mm with diameters up to 914mm and 2000mm x 2000mm with lifting capacities up to 5 tonnes. The facility has enabled us to deposit Hard Chrome on components of unusual proportions for numerous industries including Hydraulics, Textile Machinery, Oil and Gas, Paper, Plastic Moulding and Engineering in general.

We have ancillary facilities offering varying pre and post plating finishes which include Grit Blasting and Polishing with both between centres and centreless availability.

The Hard Chrome facility is complimented with our Heat Treatment option that can in certain applications improve the life in service of a component, thus producing a more economical end product.

Pictured above is a corrugator roll. One of many processed in our UK facility finished with Hard Chrome Plate. Thickness of deposits on these rolls can vary in accordance with individual customer specification between 8-200 microns, with the additional option of Heat Treatment. We also have the facility to chemically strip existing chrome or nickel, grit blast or polish and refurbish numerous engineered components within the Paper Industry.
